Sally studied for a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2000 and gained a Masters Degree from Keele University in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare in 2007. Sally worked in the NHS for 8 years where she had the opportunity to work in a number of areas within the hospital, working up from a Junior to Senior Physiotherapist in a busy Outpatient department. Over the past 8 years she has worked in various Private Clinics where she helped people to get back to normal after minor injury, trauma, accidents and surgery.
Sally currently lectures for the Neuro-orthopaedic institute, delivering training to all professions about the nervous system, pain mechanisms and physiology behind pain.
Sally is an experienced Practitioner who enjoys the challenge of daily physiotherapy practice and seeing the results of helping people to regain their confidence after injury, build strength and get back to normal.
After working in various hospitals and Private Clinics over the past 16 years, Sally has developed a special interest in Women’s Health including pain during pregnancy and gynaecological problems. She also has an interest in Chronic Pain, realising how debilitating and socially restricting this can be for people of all ages. She has worked with many to restore confidence, gain an understanding of pain and aid recovery.
Sally works 4 days per week in the clinic and would be happy to see you for a one off advice session or a full plan of rehabilitation to help you achieve your goals.
